Thank you to everyone who participated in the

2024 PACIFIC NORTHWEST INTERFAITH PEACE WALK

To Abolish Nuclear Weapons & End All Wars & Violence

NA MU MYO HO REN GE KYO

A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the 20th annual Pacific Northwest Peace Walk. From the people who walked to those who hosted the walkers overnight and everyone who wished the group well, we appreciate your support for this important event.

Walkers completed routes through Vancouver, Tacoma, Bainbridge Island, Suquamish, and Poulsbo, WA. The group was welcomed at the Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action on the last day of the walk. Ground Zero hosted the walkers and the community in a weekend of workshops and action, ending with participation in Hiroshima Day events in Seattle.

The peace walkers rested in the shade beside the new Pacific Northwest Peace Pagoda at the Ground Zero site when they arrived.
