Nipponzan Myohoji was founded in 1917 by Nichidatsu Fujii originating from Nichiren Buddhism. We practice the order to chant “Na Mu Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo“ (derived from the Lotus Sutra) and actively engage in the peace movement worldwide by organizing walks for nuclear disarmament and human rights.
