Ground Zero &amp; Seattle<\/h3>\n<p>This annual Interfaith Peace Walk is sponsored by Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Order, Eugene and Tacoma Catholic Worker, Ground Zero Ctr for Non Violent Action for Peace, Lake Forest Park for Peace, American Indian Organization for Change (CA), Veterans for Peace(ME and Others), Foot Prints for Peace(OH,<br \/>\nAustralia) and more.<\/p>\n<h3>\u201cThe religious basis of the non-violent movement was laid back as far as 2000 years\u201d -Ven. Nichidatsu Fujii<\/h3>\n<h2>Na Mu Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo<\/h2>\n<p>This will be the 14th Peace Walk in the Pacific Northwest<br \/>\nWe walk, listen, and share the voices of the victims of warfare<br \/>\nFor the past 14 years, we have walk in OR, WA, CA, NM &amp; BC. Our tie to the Marshallese Community in Salem has been strengthen through walking and praying with them. The steps<br \/>\nwe take are small, just like a ripple in a pond, yet, it is certainly a way to teach the promise of peace on this earth. We will walk 11-16 miles per day. Work for peace by walking just one day or even 1 hour, or talking at our evening potluck dinner.
